Hi,I found your site and to my surpiise you have a picture of me at a parade in baldwin last summer. My name is steve Owen and I was drrving the 1947 Mack from Columbia. We received the truck New in 1947 and was in service till 1959. We did know where the truck went on Long Island but after some time how it found a home in Florida we did not know. Then in 2006 my company got a call from a vol f d in florida to let us know they had the truck and wanted it to go back to its original house. So with some help it's back in it's Oceanside Firehouse. It did need some repairs but it's up and running. Thank you again for posting the picture.

Billy and members. Great website. You all know that if I was stilling living up home, I would have been a charter member. Will join, but don't know how I can help. Maybe you all will plan to send someone down to the national next year on the west coast. Will be checking back to see how the club is doing. Best of luck this year.
